William Samoei Ruto was the leader of the Kalenjin ethnic group in the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party and was responsible for the party’s campaigns in Rift Valley Province in the lead up to the 2007 General Elections, Witness 326 told the International Criminal Court (ICC).
