James Montgomery Dunn, age 93, of Washington, Iowa, passed away Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Halcyon House in Washington.

Private family services with military honors will be held Monday, September 23, 2024, at Elm Grove Cemetery.

Calling hours will begin 12:00 pm Sunday, September 22, 2024, at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home where the family will be present to receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. Sunday. Memorials have been established for the Washington County Hospital Foundation or the Kirkwood Community College Foundation.

Jim was born July 15, 1931, in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Herbert and Alice (Eilers) Dunn. Jim graduated from Burlington High School and later graduated from the University of Iowa in 1954.
